Principal's Message

Dear Anthem Families,

Happy Fall!

As part of our academic intervention process, we will begin the Anthem Intervention Program (AIP) for students who are failing one or more classes in the 4th– 8th grade.  In many cases when a student is not passing a class, the simple reason is he or she is not doing their work; or has missing assignments. The Anthem Intervention Program (AIP) is designed to help students set aside time to complete their homework, complete missing assignments and find time to study for upcoming tests. Teachers will be available to assist students with their work during this time.  Remediating a failing grade starts with the student, and he or she bears the most responsibility in raising the grade.  Parents please check your student’s stamp sheet every Friday to determine if your student needs to stay after school for additional support with their core classes.  During the second quarter AIP will be on the following dates, with late buses providing transportation home for students.
